Byomic Binoculars Astro 15x70 MS in Suitcase

The Byomic Astro 15x70 MS is a professional pair of binoculars with a magnification of 15x and Ø 70mm lenses. This makes the Byomic Astro 15x70 MS extremely suitable for long distance observation. If, for example, you want to observe celestial bodies and/or spot airplanes, these are the binoculars of choice.

The metal housing is robust and can take a beating. Because the binoculars are covered with rubber, you have a good grip and it lies comfortably in your hand.

The lenses used in the Byomic Astro 15x70 have a multiple coating which ensures a light transmission of more than 90%. The image is sharp in the middle as well as at the edges. In addition, the viewer is filled with nitrogen which makes it 100% water and fog resistant. At temperatures between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius the lenses do not fog up, so you can use the binoculars almost always and everywhere. Byomic supplies the Astro 15x70 in a sturdy, lockable transport case and with a mount, so you can equip the binoculars with a tripod for the very best viewing experience.

Application

When you remove the Byomic Astro 15x70 from the sturdy, lockable transport case, first remove the lens caps and rain cover. Then look through the binoculars and make sure you see 1 round image. Now you can focus the left eye by looking through the left eyepiece and close the right eye. Now you can turn the dioptre ring at the left eye to the left or right until the image is sharp. Now you can close the left eye and look with the right eye through the right eyepiece. This can be brought into focus by turning the dioptric ring at the right eye. You can turn left and right again. When you also see sharply with the right eye, you are ready with the focus and the Byomic Astro 15x70 is ready to use.

It seems cumbersome to focus both eyes separately from each other. But because of this, binoculars can be manufactured with a much better quality. Being able to focus the eyes separately gives a better sharpness which results in a better result. Binoculars with an individual focus are therefore often preferred by water sports enthusiasts, nature observers and professionals.
They are also better waterproof.
