Vortex Binocular Fury HD5000 AB Laser with Rangefinder 10x42

The Vortex Fury® HD 5000 AB Laser with Rangefinder takes the guesswork out of long-range shots. This is possible because the ballistic data is shown in the display and the built-in environmental sensors and wind gauge. You spend less time calculating ballistics and automatically have more time to shoot your bullets at the right distance. With built-in Applied Ballistics® Elite, you can pair with the FURY HD app to create custom ballistics profiles. It's compatible with popular Kestrel® and Garmin® devices for the ultimate in real-time accuracy. Simply put, it's a smarter way to shoot.

The Fury® HD 5000 is ideal for hunters and (sport) shooters. The binoculars have a range of up to 1,450 metres for objects with the size of a deer. In addition, the Fury HD 5000 features state-of-the-art technology HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) and LOS (Line of Sight). The HCD compensates for the angle of a slope or drop to display the distance to the target. This gives, for example, rifle and bow hunters the information they need to compensate for the angle when making an accurate distance determination of the shot. It also allows you to take measurements in mountainous areas. The Line of Sight, on the other hand, indicates the direct, actual distance to the object in question and does not take account of any angles.

For high reliability, the Fury HD5000 is equipped with various coatings. For example, the lenses have XR lens coating for optimum light transmission and are also multi-coated to protect against scratches, oil and other dirt. The rubber armor casing also ensures a secure grip. The binoculars are completely sealed with O-rings and filled with nitrogen gas, making them resistant to all weather conditions.

Because of the twist-up eyepiece caps, the binoculars can be used by both spectacle wearers and non-glasses wearers.

To use the Vortex Fury HD 5000, insert the supplied battery into the compartment. Then you start up the binoculars by clicking on the measure button. During measuring you determine the unit of measurement (yards or metres) and you can also determine the brightness of the image displayed. A binocular tripod adapter (not included) allows you to put the binoculars on a tripod.
The Fury HD is easy to connect with the Fury HD app or the Garmin and Kestrel app.

Properties of the lenses:

• HD Optical system, Optimized with select glass elements to deliver exceptional resolution, cut chromatic aberration and provide outstanding color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission.
• Dielectric coating, multilayer prism coatings provide clear, colourfast images.
• XR™ Fully Multi-Coated Proprietary coatings increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces.
• Phase Correction; coating on roof edge models improves resolution and contrast.

Properties of the housing:

• Roof prism for more durability and a more compact size.
• Waterproof O-ring seals prevent moisture, dust and dirt from penetrating. This guarantees reliable performance in all conditions.
• Fog-free, Argon gas purging prevents internal fogging of the binoculars over a wide temperature range.
• ArmorTek®; ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating protects the outer lenses against scratches, oil and dirt.
• Rubber protection; provides a safe, non-slip grip and reliable protection.

Equipped with even more comfort:

• Ballistic Mode, displays the actual line of sight range and wind/drop solution.
• Best Mode, displays the strongest range result. Intended to be the primary mode.
• Last Mode, displays the furthest distance when ranging/panning/scanning. Ideal for ranging targets behind potential obstructive objects in the foreground - like brush, trees and rocks.

The Fury® HD 5000 AB uses LOS (Line of Sight) ranging and the built-in Applied Ballistics® Elite Solver to calculate and display real-time ballistic targets. Can calculate and display aiming points up to 5000 yards on reflective targets.
