Saramonic SmartMixer with Microphone

The SmartMixer from Saramonic is a great accessory for your iOS or Android smartphone and contributes to an amazing audio quality. The kit includes two separate condenser microphones with 3.5mm jack plug, which you can mount on top of the SmartMixer. Both microphones can be turned 360x180 degrees, to point them perfectly into the direction of the sound. The SmartMixer features a mini XLR connector, which you can use to connect your own microphone. This can be a handheld- or lavalier microphone. Every SmartMixer comes with a mini XLR to XLR adapter, which makes the SmartMixer suitable for microphones with a standard XLR connector. The SmartMixer can be used with both a smartphone and DSLR-camera. The included handle gives you a reliable solution while filming, which contributes to smoother video footage.

Usage SmartMixer

Whether you're just start to produce videos or have years of experience, the SmartMixer is the ideal lightweight audio mixer to take everywhere with you. A great solution when you want to start a livestream with your smartphone (for example with Periscope or Facebook). Also for vlogging and interviewing, the SmartMixer is perfect, for example in combination with your DSLR camera.

You can read the volume of both channels individually on the SmartMixer screen. The SmartMixer works on a 9V battery, which is not included. On the side there are two female 3.5mm ports: one for your smartphone / camera and one to listen in real-time to the sound via your headphones (not included). The built-in knob allows you to adjust the input volume level. To use condenser microphones as well, the SmartMixer can transmit 48V phantom power through the mini-XLR port.

External 3.5mm ports

The two condenser microphones on top of the SmartMixer are easy to disassemble. This creates two additional female 3.5mm ports, allowing you to connect your lavalier and/or handheld microphones with 3.5mm male plug.
