Carson Kids Optigami Build-Your-Own Microscope Kit

The Optigami from Carson is a build-your-own microscope designed specifically for creative, hands-on children. Do you want to experience the joy of building your own microscope and actually use it? Then the Carson Optigami is for you.

The exterior of the microscope is made of cardboard and the fun part is: you are going to assemble it all by yourself. You can read exactly how this works in the manual. Using pictures you can see exactly what to do.

Because the microscope has a high magnification of 50 to 400x you can see even the smallest objects up close. With this microscope you will receive 12 prepared slides from us. These are small slides with for example insects in them. So you can see what an insect actually looks like up close.

Optigami has everything you need, like a focusing wheel to see everything sharp and a dial to adjust the magnification. When you use the microscope you can also turn on the built-in light to see everything a little better. To use that light you will need two AA batteries. These are not included in this set, but you probably have them at home.
