Yukon-940 IR Illuminator

The Yukon 940 IR Illuminator is an infrared amplifier with an invisible 940nm LED infrared beam, which can be used with night vision rifle scopes with Weaver/Picatinny rail or night vision cameras with 1/4" socket. So you can use the Yukon-940 IR Illuminator with Yukon and Pulsar night vision rifle scopes. But also with any other night vision sight with a Weaver/Picatinny rail or any night vision monocular/binocular with a 1/4" female thread (tripod connection). This infrared illuminator ensures:

- a considerable increase of the viewing distance
- an increasing accuracy in identifying objects
- a much better recognition of the smallest details

The infrared beam has a wavelength of 940nm. This creates an invisible infrared beam and glow, so you can get close to animals. The angle of the infrared beam is freely adjustable from 4 degrees (focus) to 9.5 degrees (flood). This allows you to 'illuminate' a larger or smaller area of the environment. You can also determine the intensity from 30mW to 200mW.

With the included adapter you can easily attach the IR Illuminator to the Weaver/Picatinny rail of your rifle scope. The device is powered by two supplied AA batteries.

Usage Yukon-940 IR Illuminator

If your NV rifle scope has an 850nm IR, you can use this 940nm IR Illuminator to get closer to animals (the beam is invisible). Hunters whose rifle scope already has a 940nm IR can use the Yukon -940 IR Illuminator to increase the effective viewing distance. You can use the unit with both Yukon and Pulsar night vision rifle scopes, as well as any other riflescope that has a Weaver/Picatinny rail.
