Kowa Spotting Scope Body TSN-82SV

The Kowa Spotting Scope TSN-82SV is a fantastic spotting scope with excellent light output and a clear field of view thanks to an 82mm lens diameter. The body is made of polycarbonate which is a tough and hard material that can withstand exceptionally high temperatures. The Kowa Spotting Scope TSN-82SV also has a retractable lens hood that prevents direct sunlight from entering the spotting scope and prevents rain from easily getting onto the lens.

All lenses are fully coated, which ensures sharp images and a clear field of view. The Kowa TSN-82SV belongs is one of the better spotting scopes in the world for beginners.

  • Focusing mechanism
    The focus knob enables smooth and precise focusing with one finger.
  • Compact and lightweight housing
    The housing of the TSN-82SV is made of polycarbonate and has a length of 383mm. With a weight of 1490 grams, the scope is easy to handle and carry. 
  • Waterproof and filled with nitrogen gas
    The housing is waterproof to JIS* Protection Class 7** and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent the lens from fogging up.
    * JIS=Japanese industrial standard. ** No water shall enter the housing when submerged in water under defined conditions (immersion resistant).
    The Kowa TSN-82SV is not intended for underwater use.
