Vortex Diamondback HD 16-48x65 Spotting Scope

The Vortex Diamondback HD 16-48x65 Spotting Scope is the redesigned spotting scope of Vortex. The Scope is equipped with an 65mm lens and in combination with improved HD optics a brightness is guaranteed that is necessary to detect movements even in low light, or to catch a glimpse of densely overgrown areas. The Diamondback HD 16-48x65 has everything a long range hunter needs and excels in situations with less light. Also, the housing of the Diamondback HD 16-48x65 improved making it a streamlined, slim and obstacle-free model. The focus wheel, for example, is built into the housing for this purpose.

Application Vortex Diamondback HD 16-48x65 Spotting Scope

The Diamondback HD 16-48x65 is the ideal scope for the hinterland hunting spotter who wants all the advantages of an HD optical system. With an enlarged lens diameter and improved magnification options, the new Diamondback HD provides an excellent balance of optical quality, size, weight and manageability.

The Spotting Scope features a rotating wheel around the housing for fast and accurate focusing on the target. At the front, the Diamondback HD is equipped with an integrated lens hood which can be extended in no time to prevent the sun from penetrating the lens. This lens hood also ensures that no rain and/or snow can get onto the lens. This way you will not experience any nuisance during these weather conditions.

Available in two models  

The Diamondback HD 16-48x65 Spotting Scope is available in two variants. This model has a 45° angle of view, so in a relaxed way through the eyepiece can be looked. This model is often used on a tripod but can also be used without. The model with a straight viewing angle is often used by spotters who do not want to be seen by the target. In a lying or kneeling position, a spotting scope with a straight view is ideal to look through. (This straight model can be found in optional accessories)

• Rotating tripod mounting ring; Allows the eyepiece to be rotated to a sideways position, allowing the viewing angle to be adjusted.
• Arca-Swiss compatible; Direct attachment to Arca-Swiss tripod heads without the use of an additional changing plate. Also suitable for 1/4" tripod heads.
• Built-in sunshade; Reduces glare and protects objective lens from raindrops and snow.
