The Smoke M is suitable for short videos, portrait photography, product photography, food photography and creative special effects. A small smoke cloud gives your image a completely different look straight away. Think of mist around a perfume bottle, an atmospheric background behind a portrait or a surprising transition in a video.

The smoke machine works with special smoke fluid. When heated, this fluid turns into smoke. The smoke fluid contains VG and PG. VG stands for vegetable glycerine and creates fuller smoke. PG stands for propylene glycol and helps the fluid evaporate properly.

Only use smoke fluid made specifically for the Smoke M. E-cigarette liquid, standard smoke machine fluid or liquids from other brands may damage the reservoir or electronics.

The transparent reservoir holds up to 22 ml of smoke fluid. Check before every use that enough fluid is available and refill it when the level gets low. This prevents dry operation and helps keep the smoke machine working properly.

Before first use, fully charge the Smoke M. Then fill the reservoir, place it in the smoke machine and let the fluid settle for around 3 minutes. Add a few drops of smoke fluid to the smoke outlet for a quick start. Switch the Smoke M on and press the button twice to start or stop the smoke.

The built-in 2550 mAh battery gives you around 25 minutes of use before charging is needed. The Smoke M produces smoke for a maximum of 3 minutes continuously, then pauses automatically for 2 seconds. After every 10 minutes, it switches itself off. Check the fluid level and then switch the smoke machine on again.

The status lights make operation easy to understand. Red light means the battery is nearly empty or the smoke machine is charging. Green light means the battery is full. If the green light is on while the Smoke M does not work properly, check that the reservoir is fitted securely and restart the smoke machine. Blue light means it is switched on or producing smoke.

The Smoke M measures 267 x 123 x 111 mm and weighs around 1235 g without smoke fluid. It feels solid in your hand and takes up little space in your bag or equipment case. The housing may become slightly warm while charging. This is normal.

Please note: the reservoir and smoke outlet become warm during use. Do not touch the reservoir while the Smoke M is producing smoke and let it cool down before refilling smoke fluid. Never point the smoke at your eyes, skin, fire, sparks or flammable materials. Do not inhale the smoke directly, keep the smoke machine away from children and consider smoke detectors in the room.
