At the heart of this night vision device are two Gen2+ PHOTONIS Commercial image tubes with White Phosphor (P43), delivering an impressive FOM value of 1400-1800. Enjoy a crisp resolution of 51-64 lp/mm without distracting 'spots' in your field of view. Prefer the classic green? The NVG-40 NW1 is also available with Green Phosphor.

This night vision device offers 1x optical magnification with a 26mm objective lens and can focus sharply from as close as 25 cm. Its large 40-degree field of view leaves little chance for moving targets to escape your sight. Plus, fully multi-coated lenses protect against scratches and dirt.

The rugged housing includes a built-in infrared illuminator, so you can even read texts in complete darkness. You can set the IR-illuminator to two power levels. Thanks to the NVG interface on top, you can easily mount the goggles on a helmet or goggle kit for hands-free use. The included CR123 battery powers up to 20 hours of continuous night vision.

Using binocular night vision brings double the benefits: two image tubes capture twice as much light as monocular or bi-ocular alternatives, resulting in superior light amplification.
