Equipped with Sionyx’s proprietary Black Silicon CMOS sensor with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels (60 Hz), this night camera utilizes existing ambient light such as stars, a full moon or a clear sky to provide visible images in the dark. With exceptional sensitivity of less than 1 millilux, you’ll get impressively bright images even under starlight alone. At night, the Nightwave can detect a person at up to 150 meters distance. Its wide 40-degree field of view enhances your situational awareness, allowing you to spot unexpected boats and obstacles early. The IP67 rating ensures the Nightwave is shockproof and can withstand 30 minutes of immersion up to 90 cm deep, easily handling extreme weather conditions.

The Nightwave is wired and easily controlled remotely. An analog (NTSC/PAL) output lets you connect directly to displays with analog video inputs, such as multifunction displays from various brands. The required cable is included. You can also stream images via Wi-Fi to your iOS or Android device using the free SIONYX app, allowing you to easily capture photos and videos. The Nightwave streams video in 1080x720 HD at 30 frames per second.

The camera features a standard 1/4" female threaded mount on the bottom, compatible with various tripods and clamps. It can also be mounted upside down, with the software automatically rotating the image 180 degrees. Power is supplied via USB or the included video-OUT cable (12Vdc), which connects to your MFD. You can manually adjust the Nightwave’s viewing angle height.
