Secure mounting thanks to the mount bolt on the underside of the plate.
Mount the quick-release plate to your optic and tighten the mount bolt firmly from the underside of the plate. Then fold the D-ring flat, so everything sits neatly in place and nothing gets in the way during use.
Once the plate is securely attached, place the optic directly onto your tripod. This way, your binoculars, spotting scope or other optic is ready to use in no time.
