Description
Shoot farther, faster, and more precisely. For long-range shooters and hunters in the open field, the Impact® 4000 is the all-in-one distance and ballistic problem solver. The Impact® 4000 takes the guesswork out of long-range shooting with fast, accurate ballistic corrections. Everything you need to generate aiming and shooting solutions without taking your eyes off your rifle. This advanced, rail-mounted laser rangefinder delivers critical range, ballistic, and weather data through the integrated GeoBallistics® solver, built-in environmental sensors, and our patented Wind Bearing Capture Mode. Intuitive to use. Durable and reliable. It mounts securely on any picatinny-style rail or rings with the diving board mount.
Best of all: it works where your smartphone can’t. For incredible speed and precision, wherever you are.

When should the Impact® 4000 be calibrated?
The Impact® 4000 must be calibrated when first installed, before mounting it on a firearm. You should recalibrate the Impact® 4000 every time you move a considerable distance, roughly 50 kilometers or more. The Impact® 4000 must be removed from the firearm before you start calibration. Calibrate the Impact® 4000 outdoors and away from large metal structures or objects. Calibration is essential for capturing accurate target orientation and recording the inclination and wind direction relative to your target.
What is the Wind Bearing Capture mode?
The Impact® 4000 uses the patented Wind Capture mode to manually input wind speed and direction. It tracks wind direction regardless of which way you are facing.
