The Vortex Spitfire 3x Prism Scope combines a compact design with 3x magnification and a glass-etched EBR-556B reticle. This helps you aim quickly and accurately at short to medium distances. The prism scope is specially developed for the AR platform and offers a strong combination of speed, precision and versatility.

The EBR-556B reticle is matched to the popular 5.56x45 cartridge with a 55 grain bullet and a 16 inch barrel length. The central aiming point is designed for a 100 yards zero and serves as a reference from 0 to 200 yards. The horizontal marks provide holdover points for 300, 400 and 500 yards. Built-in range marks also help estimate distances to objects around 15 inches wide.

You can illuminate the reticle in red or green, with 5 brightness settings per colour. Without illumination, the glass-etched reticle remains clearly visible. The scope runs on a CR2032 battery. With the fast-focus eyepiece, you can quickly adjust the reticle to your eyes.

The windage and elevation turrets provide clear, audible clicks. Each click moves the point of impact by 1/2 MOA. This is approximately 1/8 inch at 25 yards, 1/4 inch at 50 yards, 1/2 inch at 100 yards and 1 inch at 200 yards.

The Vortex Spitfire is mounted as standard at a height of 40.4 mm, suitable for lower 1/3 co-witness. For a lower 30 mm mount, simply remove the riser. The sturdy base fits directly onto a Picatinny rail. Keep at least 2 inches of eye relief for comfortable and safe use.

The Spitfire is covered by the Vortex VIP Warranty. This unlimited and unconditional lifetime warranty gives you extra peace of mind in case of damage or defects. Vortex will repair or replace the scope at no extra cost. Loss, theft, intentional damage and cosmetic damage that does not affect performance are not covered.

The Vortex Spitfire 3x Prism Scope includes 2 removable Picatinny rails, flip-up lens caps, a mounted riser and short mounting screws for the low 30 mm mount.
