Luna Optics LN-G3-M44 Digital Day/Night Vision Monocular 5-30x44 Gen-3

The Luna Optics LN-G3-M44 Digital Day/Night Vision Monocular 5-30x44 is a Generation-3 monocular with the largest field of vision in the series. The 44mm lens and 5 to 30x zoom function make the unit extremely suitable for observations at medium distances. The night vision monocular has a 0.38" HD AMOLED-Q 1280x720 display on which the environment is projected in Full-HD. 

With the LN-G3-M44 you have the possibility to see very detailed at night, even in the darkest nights without any moon or starlight. For this purpose, the device uses a CMOS infrared sensor and built-in 850nm LED infrared illuminator. You can also use the night vision device during the day without any problems, for example as a Full-HD digital camera or spotting scope.

There are three different viewing modes to choose from. In twilight, evening and night you can select, for example, nightvision green or black&white. The latter function is used, for example, to read texts (such as license plates or texts on buildings), while the navy green image is popular for a more 'real' viewing experience. During the day, the device offers a special full-color function, which displays the surroundings in a colorful and realistic way, without overexposing the image or your recording.

Everything you see can be captured in a photo (12.2MP) or video (1080p). These are stored on the supplied 8GB microSD card. You can also transfer recordings via a USB cable, but also to your Android or iOS smartphone using a Wi-fi connection. Finally, the unit has a micro-HDMI connection, which allows you to create a direct video connection with any HD-TV or monitor.

The monocular is an extremely effective tool for the demanding user or professional. The LN-G3-M44 focuses specifically on users for whom a large field of view is more important than the viewing distance. This 12-degree FOV ensures that you can see a large part of the surroundings with a single glance. This can be important when you want to be able to oversee a large area from a central position. Because the nightvision device is monocular, you can directly switch between nightvision and your own eye's view.
