FLIR Scout III 320 Thermal Imaging Camera

The FLIR Scout III 320 is a handheld thermal imaging camera that allows you to observe in complete darkness. You don't see it? The Scout 320 sees it! This high-tech thermal imaging cam makes it possible to detect heat up to a distance of 550 meters. The Scout III 320 gives a clear and sharp image from early morning to late evening, and in the middle of the night. Because infrared heat is used, the image is always the same, both during the day and in complete darkness. The unit is so compact that it fits easily in one hand and can also be operated with just one hand. Ideal for security guards, emergency services, customs officials, walkers, safari, farmers, yachts or paintball. See "optional accessories" to see all the accessories for this Scout 320.

Difference with night vision devices

The advantage over night vision equipment is that with thermal imaging equipment you can easily see whether something (or someone) is in the woods. It also gives you the opportunity, for example, to see heat traces. Think of a recently driven car or a handprint on a certain object. No light is needed at all to have a clear image with a thermal imaging camera.

InstAlert function

How you want warm objects to be displayed is entirely up to you! Choose from three different colour palettes (see specifications). The Scout III 320 is equipped with the so-called "InstAlert" technology. At the touch of a button, the warmest object is then displayed in red. This makes it very easy to follow the desired target.

Unique features:

- Thermal sensitivity: <50 mK @ f/1.0
- Brightness adjustable
- Auto-shutdown after 5 minutes
- Battery life: 5-7 hours

These Dual-Use goods are controlled for export purposes. An export authorization is required for temporary and permanent export to all destinations outside the European Union.
