About Benel

Benel was founded in 1990 as an importer of, and wholesaler of, optical and photographic studio products. Over the years Benel has grown from a two-man project to a company with 17 employees. Owner Han Rijk: 'Today we supply from our Hoogeveen location over 5,000 articles, divided over 33 brands, from stock to Dutch entrepreneurs and dealers in 26 European countries.

Benel specializes in photo (studio) articles and camera accessories from brands such as Falcon Eyes, Linkstar, StudioKing, Kenro, Marumi, Matin, Pixel, Tecco, Sevenoak, Boya, Nest, Braun, Miops, Explorer Cases, Saramonic, Orangemonkie, Rolux, Photorobot, ZEP and DNP.

The current range also includes optical instruments such as binoculars, telescopes, night vision and microscopes from well-known brands such as FLIR, Vortex, Konus, Byomic, Kowa, Luna Optics, Guide, SiOnyx, AGM and Yukon.

Benel's Vision 

Benel strives to maintain a reliable and accessible partnership with trading businesses to ultimately, achieve a long-term business relationships. With this in mind, Benel aims to remain open-minded and continuously invest in their company, products and logistics while maintaining competitive prices for their customers. Furthermore, Benel aims to be environmentally conscious. Benel recycles boxes and filing material, sends invoices digitally and has their products certified with RoHS and WEEE Environmental Certifications. Each product also has an EAN code.

Target Market

Benel predominantly acts as a wholesaler, supplying products to retailers, Internet resellers and businesses that are professionally engaged in photography and optics. It is, however, possible for individuals to order products through Benel’s website and have the order delivered to a dealer in their neighbourhood.

Moreover, Benel makes it possible for their clients to have their order delivered directly to a third party. This advanced method is called Dropshipping and ultimately allows customers to obtain their desired products in a timely manner.

As a private individual, Benel also provides you with the opportunity to order products directly through their web shop. Therefore, Benel provides a wide range of payment options including PayPal and Bank Transfer. Furthermore, Benel provides the consumer with a pay and collect option through their unique dealer network, (see map for pick up locations) providing customers with convenient pick up locations nearby.
